I hope you get value out of this blog post.
Financial Advisors, there are little things in your practice that waste a lot of time and also add a bit of frustration.
For example, when you take handwritten notes, how do you find what you wrote in it again? Let's say a year from now you want to find the anniversary conversation that you had documented. Today, if you do this manually, there is no option but to open each PDF up (assuming you scanned it in) and read them. Or by a stroke of luck, you may just know exactly which meeting you capture that information.
I tend to think in terms of efficiency, scalability & repeatability. The above method will fail in all those areas. And I know, until now, there just wasn't a better a system.
Well, with Pulse360's built-in handwriting capability, we have added a powerful way for you to add some "context" to your handwritten notes to make it easy to search later. You may be thinking, why don't we just convert your handwriting to text and that solves the problem. That is our goal to introduce that feature at some point. However, we are still researching privacy aspects of having to run AI on the handwriting to convert and what happens to your writing.
And if you are using Redtail CRM, Wealthbox CRM or Salesforce CRM, the logged notes will automatically be sent there as well. We currently do not send the "handwritten file" to those CRMs, but include a link.
Check out this video to see how you can add some context to your handwritten notes:
If you are not using Pulse360, consider scheduling your demo to see how you can use handwritten notes in digital format in your financial advisory practice.
